West Philippine Sea Through the Arts | The WPS Mural Festival 2026 Official Launch

Manila, Philippines — The WPS Mural Festival 2026 officially opened to the public on February 10, 2026, bringing together patriots and artists, including Commo. Jay Tarriela, Hon. Justice Antonio Carpio, Babyruth Villarama, AG Saño, Mae Paner and Christian Esguerra, among others.

The national festival aims to raise public awareness, foster unity, and celebrate the West Philippine Sea as an integral part of Filipino history and identity through visual art—encouraging artists to creatively express narratives of sovereignty, sovereign rights, heritage, environmental stewardship, and national identity as a maritime nation.

The mural festival is open to individual artists, artist collectives, schools and universities, LGUs, and community organizations.
